This adorable figurine is from Florence Ceramics, Pasadena California. Known as "Butch" he stands with his hands in his blue short pockets. This ceramic is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. With well-worn silver foil label on back.

The Florence Ceramics Company was started in 1942 by Florence Ward in the family garage and within seven years, the company built a state-of-the art ceramics plant in Pasadena. Florence Ceramics produced high quality historical and literary figurines, birds, animals and artware for twenty-four years, with the company being sold in 1964.
