Custom Guayabera Shirts, hand-dyed and transformed into a one-of-a-kind creations, from the creative mind and maker Madeleine Hope of NJ

Carversville Home is proud to offer custom upcycled Guayabera Shirts from creative artist and maker Madeleine Hope. Each of these shirts began life as plain white guayabera, bought new directly from Haband, then hand-dyed and transformed into a one-of-a-kind creation.

The Luchadore
A Brown - Upcycled Guayabera / Men’s Shirt / Size Large / Luchadores (Mexican Wrestlers) Motif
Hand-dyed in a khaki-ish shade of brown, and then custom-decorated its back with a colorful Mexican wrestlers panel, and finally trimming it with old-fashioned rick-rack in contrasting bright orange.

Our Lady of Guadalupe
A Pink - Upcycled Guayabera / Men’s Shirt / Size Large / Our Lady of Guadalupe Motif
Hand-dyed in a vivid shade of magenta-ish pink, and then custom-decorated its back with a colorful Our Lady of Guadalupe panel, and finally trimming it with old-fashioned rick-rack in cornflower blue flecked with metallic thread.

The Serape
Green - Upcycled Guayabera / Men’s Shirt / Size Large / Serape Motif
Hand-dyed in a mellow shade of green, and then custom-decorated its back with a highly colorful Mexican serape-style panel, and finally trimming it with old-fashioned rick-rack in bright green flecked with metallic thread.

The results are unique attention-grabbing and conversation-starters. They make a great gift for a special someone with a playful sense of humor who is unafraid of standing out in the crowd…do you know that someone or is that someone you?!

Content is 80% polyester/20% cotton.
Since it was hand-dyed, hand washing in cool water is suggested initially to make sure any excess dye is soaked out. Also, there are slight variations in color from the hand-dying process, adding to the shirt’s overall funkiness and uniqueness.
