Vintage Early 1940's Target Brownie Six-16 Box Camera manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company, USA

$50.00

The "Target Brownie Six-16" (not Brownie Target Six-16) is an early version manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company in the 1940's. A basic box camera with horizontal and vertical view finders that show magnified images.

All Black with Art Deco Design and White Lettering.

Fitted with a single meniscus lens for taking pictures from eight feet to infinity without focusing, accompanied with a simple snapshot or time exposure shutter.

The Target Brownie Six-16 took eight 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch black and white exposures or six 2 7/8 x 4 3/16 inch Kodacolor pictures on no. 616 roll film.

The camera measures approximately 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"

In great condition (minor scuffs and wear) for an 80 year old box camera, shutter fires and inside is very clean.
