This Bavarian Pattern 0.5 Liter Salt Glaze Stoneware Beer Stein was made in Germany and features a salt glaze pattern. Salt glazing is a unique process and involves adding salt into the kiln during the firing process, thus variations, darkening, or spotting on the finish are normal and make each item one of a kind.

This stein includes a hand applied handle and a pewter lid with ball thumblift.

It measures approximately 5-5/8" to top of lid, 6-1/2" to top of handle.

Stamped "Handarbeit Grimscheid" , this beer stein is in very good condition with just a few signs of wear on the lid.
