This luminous serving dish from Maurice of California measures approximately 14-1/4" W (side to side) x 8-1/4" W (front to back). Each of the divided 3 sections are about 5" wide. The bottom is signed "Maurice of California, Made in USA, 3040.
"Maurice Ceramics (aka Maurice of California) was founded by Maurice Pechman (1924-2011) in 1954 in Los Angeles, California. Pechman was born in Krakow, Poland. He survived internment at Aushwitz concentration camp. He arrived in the United States in 1950. The company produced its own line of ceramics, as well as importing pottery, glass and dinnerware from Europe and the Orient. It was in business until at least 1985."
This ceramic lusterware piece is in very good condition with a small fleabite on the underside. See photo #8 - priced accordingly. Whether you are starting a new collection, or adding to an existing one, this beautiful serving dish would be an awesome piece to consider.
