This vintage Williamsburg gray pottery, salt glazed, cobalt blue leaf handled crock, was made in the USA. Williamsburg Pottery began as a small pottery operation where Jimmy Maloney made salt glaze in the authentic 18th-century manner, using clay from the nearby James river in Virginia. Williamsburg Pottery stayed in business for over 80 years.

This Williamsburg gray pottery handled crock, are both stamped "Williamsburg Pottery" on the side by the handle. The crock measures approximately 4-1/4" H x 7-1/2" W (from spout) and is in excellent condition -- no cracks or crazing. This beautiful handled crock would make a great addition to any pottery collection/display as well as a special occasion gift for a collector.
