Vintage 1950-60's Large "Donkey Pulling A Cart" Clay/Earthenware Planter - Hand Painted, Made in Italy

Made from heavy clay/earthenware this 1950-60's Donkey pulling a cart is a unique find. It is larger than most with a happy animated Donkey and oversized cart. This handmade piece is painted in Green, Blue, Pink and Yellow. In excellent vintage condition since having been used as a planter. Some minor wear, no cracks or repairs and is marked on the bottom.

Marked Italy and measures approximately 14" long x 5 1/2" wide x 9" tall (at the ears). This is one big donkey cart... see photo with soda can to gauge size/scale. Priced accordingly with postage taken into consideration due to it's weight and size.

Makes a great gift for a collector or as whimsical, fun planter/table centerpiece. Donkeys are a symbol of humbleness, strength, persistence and peace.
