This lovely vintage sugar bowl & lid were crafted from superior quality ceramic by Pope-Gosser China of Steubenville Ohio, and is part of their Cathay Rose collection. Their china is renowned for resisting signs of age, and wear & tear, such as: cracking, chipping and crazing. This adorable footed sugar bowl features a rim of embossed flowers, a scalloped edge, stems of roses on both sides, and lugged handles. Please notice the rosebud handle, on the lid. Simply charming.

This sweet white Rose Point sugar bowl with lid designed by Steubenville is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This lidded sugar bowl measures approximately 4" tall x 5-1/2" wide (handle to handle). Steubenville Pottery was founded in Steubenville, Ohio in 1879 and closed down in 1959.

This lidded sugar bowl would be a great accent for a country, vintage or cottage kitchen. It would also make a great addition to an ironware collection/display as well as a gift for a housewarming. Fabulous for entertaining or for your coffee bar.
