Vintage Chambord Round Covered Vegetable Server, by Heinrich - H&C, Made in Germany, Rare Find

This vintage Chambord Round Covered Vegetable Server by Heinrich - H&C, is so lovely -- with its floral pattern of pink, green, yellow, purple, and orange flowers. The top of the lid features a white rose knob and the bowl has handles on both sides.

Made in Germany, this discontinued vegetable server is simply beautiful. It measures approximately 6-3/8' wide x 6-1/4'' tall (to the knob on lid), and would be a fabulous addition to any collection or display. In excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, stains, or repairs.

It is marked on the bottom, "Heinrich Germany Chambord". Heinrich Porcelain was founded in 1896 by porcelain painter Franz Heinrich in Selb, Germany. It developed into one of the most important manufacturers in Germany. After the Second World War, Heinrich was the first porcelain producer in West Germany to resume production and sold the company to the English Slater Walker Group. In 1974 the English Bowater Group took over the company, and in 1976 it was integrated into Villeroy & Boch.
