This Sebring Pottery Co. China Bouquet Serving Platter is timeless and simply beautiful. The Sebring Brothers pottery was formed in 1887 by five (some sources list six) brothers, and two sisters along with George Ashbaugh and Sampson Turnbull. The original pottery was located in East Liverpool, Ohio.
Sebring Brothers and Company Pottery stopped manufacturing in 1967 but continued as a sales and service company. The company began production in 1899 and was once known as "the pottery capital of the world". At its peak, the company employed over 500 people and produced 25,000 pieces of pottery per day in the 1930s.

Stamped "The Sebring Pottery Co, USA, B-48, China Bouquet, 1K S-518, Warranted 22 K Gold" on the bottom, and is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, repairs or staining.

The simple, yet elegant gold floral design and bunch of pink roses draws you in. The colors are vivid and the red/pink scalloped edge makes it really special. It measures approximately 11-3/4" W (side to side) x 9-1/2 W (front to back).
