Elegant Porcelain 1950's Lyre Form Mid_Century Modern Candle Holders by Lenox, Made in USA

Set of 2, Lenox Mid-Century Modern Lyre Candle Holders. These candle holders, designed in a lyre or tulip shape, are made of ivory or bone white porcelain and are a notable example of mid-century modern design. They stand approximately 8 inches tall and are characterized by their flowing, graceful curves. The Lyre Collection was produced by Lenox and is identified by the green Lenox logo on the bottom.

These lovely porcelain pair of candle holders measure approximately 8" Tall with a base of 5" Wide. The pair is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, stains, or cracks. Marked "Lenox, made in USA" on the bottom. For most of the 20th century, Lenox was the most prestigious American maker of tableware, and the company produced other decorative pieces as well.By 2020, it was the last significant manufacturer of bone china in the United States, until the pandemic forced the closure of the company's only remaining American factory, making Lenox made in the USA, more collectible and rare.

These candle holders are unique and absolutely beautiful ~ they would make an awesome accent to any dining table, shelving, or mantle in your home. Awesome additions to any collection or display. These ivory decor pieces go with any combinations of colors and a match for any style of decor. You can put either tapered candles or small piller candles in on the base.
