Vintage Cast Metal with gold brass finish "Learning Cherubs" Book and Globe, Bookends/Paper Weights/Pen Holders - Set of 2

Early 20th Century cast metal "Learning Cherubs" measure 4 1/2" tall x 4" wide. Sturdy enough to hold up your books or to be used as paper weights or door stops. These vintage decorative items are notable for their solid construction and classic design. Each is finished with a gold patina to enhance its aesthetic appeal.

In excellent vintage condition, no chips, cracks or repairs, a great addition to your desktop, book case/shelf or mantle. There is an attached round medallion next to each seated Cherub, possibly where a penholder would have been added in the factory. These two may have been sold as bookends or desktop statues. Unmarked.
