This Royal Copenhagen Denmark Porcelain "Turtledoves on Cherry Blossom Branch" Figurine #402, designed by Theodor Madsen (1880-1965) in 1902, is awesome! Made of hand-painted porcelain, it features 2 lovebirds perched on a cherry blossom branch with leaves and flowers. It measures approximately 5-1/2" High x 4" Wide.

These adorable lovebirds are stamped on the bottom: "Royal Copenhagen, Denmark, 402 " and signed with the artist’s initials. Turtle Doves, also known as lovebirds, are symbolic in various cultures and traditions as a representation of love, fidelity, and devotion. This symbolism is often tied to their perceived monogamous nature and the tender cooing sounds they make.
