Vintage RCCL Wheelbarrow Rooster Planter 471, hand-painted, made in Portugal. In excellent condition, no crazing, no cracks, no chips. New condition -- still has the original "Made in Portugal" sticker on the inside. It is also marked on the bottom, "RCCL, Made in Portugal, Hand Painted 471". Circa 1970's-1990's.

RCCL Pottery, established in Portugal in the mid-20th century, represents a fusion of Portuguese artisanal traditions and innovative design. The company originated in the country’s pottery heartlands, where rich clay deposits and centuries-old craftsmanship formed the perfect foundation for its unique ceramic creations.

This adorable planter measures approximately 11-1/2" Wide (handle to wheel) x 3-5/8" Tall x 2-3/4" Deep and features a wheelbarrow with a floral design and rooster. The colors are vibrant. Great decor piece -- would look great on a kitchen counter filled with herbs, other plants, or a fabulous addition to any collection or display. Cottage, farmhouse decor.
