Vintage Transfer Ware "Brentwood Shamrock" Pitcher, Cobalt Blue and White Ironstone, Wm. Adam & Sons England, Circa 1968-1988. This pitcher has an empress shape and features a clue clover or shamrock pattern on a white background.

This fabulous pitcher, made in England is marked on the bottom, "Brentwood Real English Ironstone, Wm Adams & Sons, England, Est. 1657".

Wm Adams & Sons, a prominent name in British ceramics, traces its roots back to the late 18th century in Staffordshire, England. Founded by William Adams, the company specialized in producing a variety of wares, including white ironstone, and became known for exporting to markets across the globe, particularly in the Americas. The business evolved through several generations, eventually being absorbed into the Wedgwood Group in 1966.

This lovely ironstone pitcher stands approximately 5-3/4" Tall x 5-1/4" Wide -- spout to handle, and has a 16-20 ounce capacity. The artwork on this pitcher is absolutely beautiful! It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

It has a simple blue and white design that draw you to it. Perfect decor piece for any kitchen. Can be used for milk, water, juice, syrup, wine, or flowers -- or as a stand alone decor piece. The Brentwood pattern was originally introduced in 1969and was produces in early 1984. It was a reissue of an 1850's clover leaf pattern. Simply beautiful.
