Vintage "Leuchtenburg Luster Ware" Tea/Demitasse Cups and Saucers, Center Floral Pattern, Circa 1940's, Set of 4, Made in Germany, Rare Find

These 4 porcelain tea/ demitasse cups with saucers from Leuchtenburg Luster Ware are delicate, elegant, and beautiful. Lustreware or lusterware is a type of pottery or porcelain with a metallic glaze that gives the effect of iridescence.

Circa 1940's, this lovely set of 4 tea/demitasse cups and saucers are marked on the bottom and feature a peach and white background with a gold framed oval with colorful cut flowers.

In very condition vintage condition, with no cracks, crazing, stains or repairs. They do show minor signs of ware, (one cup has a small flea bite) -- but considering their age, they are in amazing condition. They measure approximately: (saucers) 4-3/4" in diameter and (cups) are 3" H. A rare find, this is a desirable set for any vintage collector and can be a beautiful addition to your dining table, porcelain collection or display.
