Vintage Price Brothers (Price Kensington) Sitting Cow Teapot, Hand-Painted, Circa 1940's, Made in England, Rare Find

This vintage Price Kensington ceramic sitting cow teapot is adorable. Hand-painted, this teapot features a a brown and white cow design with a pink ribbon around its neck and a yellow bell that serves as the spout. Price Kensington is a well-known English pottery manufacturer dating back to the 19th century. Originally established as Price Brothers in 1896, it eventually became Price & Kensington Potteries in 1962. They are recognized for producing various tabletop accessories and novelty teapots.

This novelty anthropomorphic cow teapot stands approximately 6-3/4" Tall ( from top of lid) x 6-3/4" Wide (handle to spout). Made of ceramic, it bears the trade mark "Price Bros, Made in England" on the bottom -- which means it was crafted around 1947. It's in very good vintage condition with no chips, repairs, or cracks -- some signs of wear from age.

Whether you are starting a new collection, or adding to an existing one, this would be an awesome piece to consider. This lovely novelty teapot would make a great addition to any collection/display as well as a gift for a collector. It's functional, whimsical and fun!
