Vintage Soviet Era Gilt Silver 875 Hinged Shell Shaped Pink and White Compact with Mirror and Powder Box with Screen, Circa 1950's-1960's

This vintage Russian pink and white seashell shaped compact powder box mirror is simply beautiful. It is from the Soviet era and was manufactured in Leningrad around 1958. It features a compartment for powder, a screen, and a mirror inside. The exterior is made from gilt silver with an 875 standard hallmark.

From the 1950's-1960's, this compact powder box is in very good vintage condition, and showcases the craftsmanship of an old era. It's a fabulous collectible piece that would make an awesome addition to any collection. Makes a wonderful gift or a special treat for yourself. Measuring approximately 3" x 3-1/4", this compact powder box is beautiful and historically significant.
