Vintage 1960's Shenango Restaurant Ware Disc Pitcher in Pink and White, New Castle, PA

Vintage Shenango Restaurant Ware Disc Pitcher in Pink and White. Dating from the 1960's Shenango China was known for producing durable, vitrified china primarily for hotels and restaurants. This substantial and sturdy pitcher weighs over 4 lbs, and measures approximately 7 1/2" tall x 8 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide. Shenango, China, USA stamped under glaze on bottom. "D-23" designation indicates manufacture between July - December 1965.

This 24 oz pitcher is in excellent condition with no cracks, staining or repairs. It is a simple, yet elegant MCM design. It would look awesome on your table as a pitcher or to hold flowers. This beautiful pitcher would also make a great addition to a collection/display as well as a housewarming or other occasion gift.
