Vintage Fire King "JANE RAY" jadeite green oval serving platter or plate made by Anchor Hocking. It measures 11 3/4" X 9". Marked on the bottom "Oven Fire King Ware Made in USA". A cool yet rich Jadeite color and substantial/sturdy piece, this beautiful serving platter would make a great addition to your vintage kitchen. Also makes a terrific gift. From the 1940s through 2000, Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation of Lancaster, Ohio, produced an extensive line of heat resistant oven glassware called Fire-King.

Jadeite glass was popular in the early to mid-20th century and sought after by collectors. Made of pressed glass which gives Jadeite pieces a smooth, even surface. This platter features ribbing around the entire rim. In very good vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or staining.
