Vintage Pink "Egg Harbor" Pattern Depression Glass Footed Sugar and Creamer, Circa 1929, Depression Era, Made by Liberty Works Glass, USA.
The Liberty Glass Company's Egg Harbor pattern is a vintage Depression glass design, produced in 1929, featuring a unique octagon shape with a delicate swirl pattern. Liberty Glass Works, located in Egg Harbor, New Jersey, operated from 1902 to 1932. The company, known for its Depression glass, was unfortunately forced to close after a fire damaged the plant in 1932 and they were unable to rebuild due to the economic climate. Liberty Works was originally a cut glass decoration shop. They cut glass from other manufacturers then in the teen decade they started making tableware. Their cut glass pieces were shipped all over the world.
This set is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or staining. The sugar bowl measures approximately 3-1/2"H x 5-1/2"W (handle to handle), and the creamer pitcher measures approximately 3-3/4"H x x 5" W (spout to handle).
A substantial set in a beautiful color, this sugar and creamer would make a great addition to your vintage kitchen. Also makes a terrific gift. Perfect for that farmhouse, country, and Art Deco decor.
