Rare Victoria Czech fine china covered butter dish with insert, circa 1918-1939, Yellow Roses and Black Branch Pattern, made in Czechoslovakia. In excellent condition, this "Victoria" china -- often marked "Royal Bayreuth Bavaria", is a white porcelain butter dish with a pattern of yellow roses and black branches and gold trim. It has no chips, cracks, stains, repairs or crazing. The gold trim is also intact.

This dome covered dish features an insert that was used to drain the whey and also to keep the butter cool with shaved ice under the insert. It measures approximately 7" in diameter and 4-1/2'' tall (to the knob on lid), and is a fabulous addition to any collection or display. The bottom and the insert are marked " "Victoria China Czechoslovakia" under a crown.

This vintage domed covered butter dish is simply beautiful. It would add a touch of elegance to any dining table. It makes a fabulous gift and a great addtion to any collection or display.
