Vintage Hand-Painted Delft Blue Windmill Decorative Plate, 103720-GK, Made in Holland

Made in Holland, this Delft blue and white windmill scene decorative plate measures approximately 8-1/4" in Diameter. It is simply lovely and would be a nice addition to your kitchen or dining area. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or damage. Appears like it was never used -- and it features a wire hanger on the back. It can also be displayed on a plate rack or display easel.

This pottery originated in the Netherlands in the 16th century and is made from clay, covered with a white tin glaze, and then decorated with colbalt blue paint. The plate is stamped on the back, "Delft Blue Handpainted 103720GK, Made in Holland". It features a white background, a dark blue pattern around the rim, and a windmill pattern in the center with cows and geese -- a simply fabulous scene from Dutch life.

This beautiful plate is an awesome decor piece -- and an excellent addition to any collection / display. It serves as a great blue and white decor piece and also would make a lovely gift.
