The Kodak Instamatic 500 camera was manufactured from 1963 to 1965 and uses 126 film cartridges. It features a 38mm f/2.8 Schneider Xenar lens and has a coupled Gossen selenium-cell light meter and a Compur leaf shutter with speeds from 1/30th to 1/500th of a second. This is a high-quality camera manufactured in Germany, with a brushed metal body and original black leather case with metal bracket.
In overall excellent condition, however we can not guarantee it will work as new, and we have made no attempt to open or test, since it still contains a roll of film, with some exposures left. Is it worth taking some pictures to see what develops? A rare opportunity for a unique 1960's camera.

All vintage items are, by definition “used” and may show signs of age and/or use. Buying vintage items online assumes some risk. This and all vintage items in our shop are sold as found and priced accordingly. Though our policy is not to accept returns or offer refunds on vintage used items, you should never hesitate to contact us if there is an issue with any purchase. We will do our best to understand and seek to correct it.
Our goal is to get your vintage item packed securely and shipped quickly. Whenever possible we use recycled or reused material, sourcing boxes and packing materials from family, friends, and local businesses. We always take the cost of postage into consideration when pricing items and multiple orders can also be combined to save on shipping costs.
