This vintage De Carlini Italian blown glass circus clown Christmas ornament, circa 1960's, is simply adorable. It is a unique orange haired clown ornament made from mouth-blown glass that was hand-decorated and hand-painted.

Enrico and Elisa De Carlini began handcrafting heirloom glass Christmas ornaments in their small workshop just outside of Milan, Italy, in 1947 hoping to bring a bit of cheer to post-WWII Europe. Their whimsical designs quickly gained popularity, and a family tradition was born.

In excellent vintage condition, this delicate ornament measures approximately 6-1/4" Tall. Whimsical and fun -- this ornament is a must have for a vintage Christmas collector or great gift for someone who appreciates vintage Christmas ornaments.
