Vintage Adams China Winter Scene Plate, "Snowed Up Ruffed Grouse", Circa 1920s

This Adams dinner plate features a beautiful winter scene with a snowed-up ruffled grouse design. This fabulous plate measures approximately 10-1/2" in diameter, and is part of the Adams product line, which was made in England, and features engravings by N. Courier, a New York lithographer. It was produced in the 1920's and is made of high-quality ceramic material. Simply festive and colorful.

This black and multi-colored design with holly border is vibrant and eye-catching -- the background really pops. The rare find is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some slight crazing -- which is not surprising considering the age of the plate -- we think it actually adds to the charm.

This plate is discontinued, a rare find and very collectible. Marked on the back, this plate is great decor piece for the Christmas/ Winter holidays. Make this awesome plate part of your collection. A splendid gift!
